Mounting brackets 

For mounting PTP 450 BHSs, Cambium Networks offers the SMB1A mounting bracket. 

 

Network connection 

The network connection to a PTP 450 Series BHM/BHS is made via a 10 BaseT or 100 
BaseT Ethernet connection.  The power is provided to the BHM/BHS over the Ethernet 
connection using a proprietary powering technique. 

Power supply 

The BHM/BHS power supply generates the supply voltage (29 VDC) from the external DC 
source and injects the supply voltage into the radio units. The power supply is connected 
to the radio and network equipment using Cat5e cable with RJ45 connectors. See

The PTP 450 BHM can use the GigE power injector but will not support GigE speeds.
