Ethernet Features 

 

The following figure shows the usage of SAP, SNP and Pipe service points in a microwave 
network. The SNPs are used for interconnection between the network elements while the SAPs 
provide the access points for the network. A Smart Pipe is also used, to provide connectivity 
between elements that require port-based connectivity.
