SAFETY CAR SEAT CIAO LUSSO - ART. S 147
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
These instructions are important. Please read them carefully before using the
"Ciao Lusso" car safety seat and retain them for future reference. The "Ciao
Lusso" has been manufactured to comply with the European Standard ECE
44/03, as GROUP 0 (suitable for children from birth to 10 Kgs) and as GROUP 1
(suitable for children from 9 to 18 Kgs).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AS A GROUP 0 CAR SAFETY
SEAT (UP TO 10 KGS)
Warning - For Group 0, the safety seat must only ever be used in the most
reclined position (see Fig. 1A). Until the child weighs 10 Kgs. The safety seat must
never be used in any other position.
To adjust the reclining position of the safety seat, pull the red handle under the
seat (Item L) until you reach the required position. (Fig. 1A).
The safety seat can be fitted onto both the front and rear seats of your car, but it
must always be rear facing (Fig. 2A). Please note: If your car has an airbag on the
passenger seat, the safety seat must only ever be used on the rear seat.
Secure the safety seat onto the car seat using the car seat belt. (The belt must be
approved by Reg. ECE 16 or similar). Pass the lap part of the seat belt under the
base of the safety seat into the two points marked by a blue label and fasten the
clip to the corresponding buckle. Pass the upper diagonal part of the belt behind
the safety seat, taking care to insert it thourgh the ring (Item C). Tighten the seat
belt and ensure that the belt is not twisted. (Fig. 2A).
ATTENTION: If your car is fitted with an airbag on the passenger seat, the baby
safety seat must only ever be used on the rear seat.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AS A GROUP 1 CAR SAFETY
SEAT (FROM 9 MONTHS TO 4 YEARS OLD)
Position the safety seat in the forward facing position on either the passenger or
rear seat of your car. Secure the safety seat onto the car seat using the car seat
belt. (The belt must be approved by Reg. ECE 16 or similar). Pass the lap belt
(Item A) under the base of the safety seat into the two points marked by a red label
and fasten the clip to the corresponding buckle. Pass the upper diagonal part of
the belt behind the safety seat, taking care to insert it through the ring (Item C).
Tighten the seat belt and ensure that the belt is not twisted (Fig. 2B).
SECURING YOUR CHILD INTO THE SAFETY SEAT
Place the child into the safety seat and fit them into the attached safety harness.
(Fig. 3A).
