Installation Manual

REDUNDANT CORE LINK CARD

SFP slot & activity LED for

comms connection with

Control Processor fitted

in the linked core. Note,

the right hand SFP slot is

inactive and blanked off.

Card map - shows the valid

card slots for all card types

in both Core A and Core B.

Status LEDs

Router 1 /

Control Active

Core B

Control Reset

Control OK

Status 1

Status 2

• Primary router / expansion router

heartbeat, inactive if RCL card is fitted in

Core B.

• Secondary router / expansion router

heartbeat, inactive if RCL card is fitted in

Core A.

• Lights solid to indicate that the Control

Processor fitted in the linked core is

powered.

• Lights solid if the Control Processor in

the linked core is actively in control. Off if

the linked Control Processor is in standby

/ backup mode.

• Lights solid green when fitted in Core B,

off if fitted in Core A.

• Lights momentarily during a control reset.

• Lights solid to indicate Control Processor

has booted. Left hand LED (with shaded

background) refers to the Control

Processor fitted in the linked core. Right

hand LED refers to the Control Processor

fitted in the adjacent slot to this card.

• Displays own heartbeat.

• Unused.
