Here’s how to record the digital audio output from your CD, MD, or DAT into your computer.
fig.digital1_e.eps
[SAMPLE RATE] Switch
Set to match the sample rate of your digital audio playback device and the sample rate of
your recording software.
Normally, you should select 48 kHz or 44.1 kHz for a DAT, and 44.1 kHz for an MD or CD. For
details, refer to the documentation for the digital audio device or sequencer software you’re
using.
* After changing the [SAMPLE RATE] switch setting, you must disconnect the UA-1G’s USB
cable from your computer and then reconnect it.
[REC SOURCE] Switch
Set to
DIGITAL
.
* Minimize the volume of the connected monitor speakers or other audio equipment before
you change the [REC SOURCE] switch setting.
Other points
• The UA-1G implements
SCMS
.
If a song containing copy-prohibit flags (such as a song you recorded from a CD to an MD) is
digitally input via the MIC (PLUG-IN POWERED) / DIGITAL IN jack, you won’t be able to
record it to your computer. The sound will be output from the OUTPUT jacks and the
PHONES/DIGITAL OUT jack.
