Basic operation
Here’s how to record the analog audio output from a cassette tape, record, or other audio
device into your computer.

* If you’re using a record player, it’s best to use a player that has a phono equalizer. If your
record player does not have a phono equalizer, you’ll need to run the signal through an
amp that has a phono equalizer.
[SAMPLE RATE] Switch
Set to match the sample rate of the recording software you’re using.
* After changing the [SAMPLE RATE] switch setting, you must disconnect the UA-1G’s USB
cable from your computer and then reconnect it.
[REC SOURCE] Switch
Set to
ANALOG
.
* Minimize the volume of the connected monitor speakers or other audio equipment before
you change the [REC SOURCE] switch setting.
Input volume
Adjust the [INPUT LEVEL] knob until the level is as high as you can get it without causing the
PEAK indicator to light.
