11 Cleaning
o Remove all cables as well as the USB stick and close the ports tightly with the
silicone cover.
o
To clean, wipe the SoundCam housing with a soft, lint-free cloth.
o
Do not touch the diaphragms of the microphones.
Very thin and sensitive Gore-Tex diaphragms are used. They protect the microphones and
ensure the SoundCam is protected against dust and splash water according to IP54.
Touching the diaphragm can damage it, causing the SoundCam to lose its dust and water
protection.
o
Do not clean the SoundCam with strong, aggressive, corrosive or solvent-based
cleaning agents, dripping wet or pre-treated cleaning cloths and strong cleaning
sprays.
o
Do not clean with high-pressure cleaners or other machines.
o
Do not clean with compressed air.
o
Do not dry the SoundCam with hot air or in microwave ovens under any
circumstances.
