Working with markers 

It can be useful to mark the occurrence of an acoustic event on the timeline to make it easier to find 
again. 

 The marker positions are shown as green lines in the sonogram. 

 

If markers are set (loaded or stopped measurement), use the left / right arrow in the right drop-down 
menu to jump to the next / previous set marker. Use the 

- button to delete the currently selected 

marker.  

You can set as many markers as you like. These are written to the file when the measurement is 
saved.

Export functions 

You can export recordings of your measurements in full length or shortened. 
The selectable formats are supported by a variety of playback programmes and web browsers. 

To transfer the created videos to your PC, use a USB stick or a comparable medium that you connect 
to the interface of the SoundCam set up for this purpose (see  The Settings Menu,  p. 36). 

Furthermore, it is possible to create screenshots (snapshots of the measurement displays) from 
measurements. 

In addition, saved measurements can also be viewed and edited again in the PC application. 

For optimum compatibility, we recommend a medium formatted in the NTFS file system.
