This user guide provides information on how to use and maintain the CAE Air1 ventilator. It is
intended for trained medical personnel and is to be read prior to the first use of the ventilator to
ensure safe and proper handling of the equipment.
IMPORTANT: Read and follow all Warnings and Cautions provided in this guide. The warnings and
cautions contain information critical to the safety of patients and medical personnel and the proper
handling of the device. The complete set of warnings and cautions are located in the
Safety section.
The following sections and topics are included:
• The Specifications section identifies environmental and use parameters for the CAE AIr1.
• The Safety section identifies the risks associated with the use of a ventilator including all
Warnings and Cautions relevant to handling and using the ventilator. Safety symbols
found on the CAE Air1 case are defined, and cybersecurity measures are described.

and use circumstances of the CAE Air1 ventilator.
