Appendix B - Alarms
Ventilator Hardware and Software Alarms
The following table identifies the alarm indications that may occur that are specifically related to the
ventilator hardware or software. An alarm is triggered when the equipment is not setup or
functioning as designed, or when a battery level is low or needs recharging.
Some high priority ventilator malfunctions, and the breathing circuit obstruction, trigger the Fail Safe
mode. Refer to the
Interface Overview
and
Troubleshooting
sections for more information.
