Equipment Overview

Vimedix

Computer

Along with the mannequin and probe, the computer is one of the essential components of the Vimedix.
The operating system is solely programmed to run the Vimedix software and receive updates.

The Vimedix Computer

Computer Power Supply Cord

The computer power supply cord is used to connect the computer to a surge-protected power source.

Keyboard and Mouse

The keyboard can be used to enter custom Target Cut Planes (TCP) names, enter information in the
Reports windows and access different simulator functions using shortcut keys.

The mouse allows users to navigate the software, access different functions, perform assessment tasks
(e.g., measurements, Doppler, etc.) and control the virtual probe and Augmented Reality display.

IMPORTANT:

The wireless USB adapter must be used with the wireless keyboard and mouse. See

Setup

for more information.
