If the” ” button was pressed again within 5 se-
conds no measurement will be done, and a number
in the lower right corner will blink to indicate the
seconds left for next measurement.
If you did not hear the beep sound, representing the
temperature, then measurement has not yet been
completed. Please do not move the thermometer
away from forehead until you hear the beep sound.
Measuring temperature with the distance larger
than 3cm can result in the halt of the measurement,
consequently no beep can be heard. Please move
the device closer to forehead and measure again.
OBJECT MODE:

In ON status, press “Power” button
for 3 seconds, the product enters
into object mode and LCD will di-
splay the “object mode” symbol
in the upper right corner. Object
mode measures the surrounding
environment or object temperature. To ensure the
accuracy of measurement, please do not conduct
forehead measurement in object mode.
Note: No matter which mode is selected before tur-
ning the device off, the default value is always “body
mode” after turning it on.
TURN OFF THE DEVICE
Device can be turned off manually by pressing
“Power” button for 5 seconds, or automatically wi-
thout using it for 30 seconds.
