Battery



The battery is located in the left front of
front compartment.



Basic functions of battery



With the vehicle power OFF, the battery, connected in parallel with the DC,

serves as the power supply for the vehicle loads. In general, with the vehicle
powered up (OK), DC supplies power to electrical appliances of the vehicle and
charges the battery. Only when the output is inadequate can the battery supply
power to the vehicle loads.



Precautions for using battery



To prevent the battery from getting into the state of insufficient power, when the
conditions ("OFF" mode, discharging allowed for power battery and battery power
less than the design value) are met, the "intelligent charging" function will be
triggered.



If "intelligent charging" fails, the battery may fail to serve as LV power supply of
the vehicle so that the vehicle cannot be powered up. In this case, please contact
a BYD authorised service provider for handling.



In case of any other problem you cannot solve, contact a BYD authorised service
provider.
