7. START-UP AND OPERATION
Before plugging in the heat pump, and making sure that the filtration pump is running, do the following:
•
If the LED on the differential circuit breaker integrated into
the cable is not lit up red, press the button in the centre of the
differential circuit breaker.
• Turn the heat pump on (press the on/off button on the control panel).
• The heat pump will start automatically if a heating demand is detected (that is, if the temperature
measured by the water temperature sensor is below the set point).
• After a few minutes, check that the air expelled by the machine is colder.
Nota bene : When the compressor stops, it will only restart after a 3 minute time-out.
Protect the circuits and avoid excessive wear of the contact. Even a very short interruption of the
power supply will entail a start-up time-out and prevent immediate start-up.
In the event the that the differential circuit breaker is tripped, reset by pressing the central button (the
LED will light up). If the switch trips again, do not attempt another reset, call your supplier or a qualified
electrician because this indicates that the device has an electrical problem.
Check regularly that the switch is working properly by pressing the TEST button after energising the
machine; the switch should trip. If it does not, contact your supplier or a qualified electrician because
the switch is defective.
