1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
THIS DEVICE IS DESIGNED FOR SWIMMING POOLS ONLY. DO NOT USE FOR ANY
OTHER APPLICATION.
ELECTRICAL RISK: ABIDE BY THE INSTRUCTIONS SET OUT BELOW AS WELL AS THE
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
1.1 User safety
The Chlorine generator control panel should be wired in by a qualified professional, according to the
standards in effect in the country of installation. See the table below:

Unless the locally applicable regulations are more restrictive, we recommend that the control panel be
installed more than 3.5 m from the pool.

Should this be impossible, it may be positioned closer than 3.5 metres, but not less than 2 m from the
pool (the control panel has a protection rating of IP65, against splashing), subject to the condition that
the power cable is connected directly to a 30 mA residual circuit device.

Never open the cover protecting the control panel while it is energised.

The electrical supply must be equipped with a means of cutting the power supply to the Chlorine
generator control panel, installed upstream from the device, to allow the device to be systematically
de-energised before any technical intervention.

The Chlorine generator control panel power line must be protected by a magneto thermal circuit.

In the event of damage to the power cable, have it replaced immediately by a qualified professional.
Do not use the device until the power cable has been replaced.

The Chlorine generator cell is powered by SELV direct current from the control panel. There is
therefore no electrical risks to bathers using the pool while the device is in operation.

To increase safety, mount the control panel high enough to be out of the reach of children.

The device may be used by children under 8 years of age, and persons with restricted physical,
sensory or mental capacities or who lack the relevant experience and/or knowledge If they are correctly
supervised or if they have been given instructions for the safe use of the device, and understood the
risks involved. Children should not be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance may
not be performed by children unless supervised.
