5. Fastening the box
a. Fasten the bottom of the box to the wall using 2 screws so that the cable gland
are pointing downwards.
b. Click the top on to the bottom part.
6. Position the AQA Stop Floor Sensor
Important!
Position the AQA Stop Floor Sensor on the floor near the unit so that it
slopes towards the AQA Stop Floor Sensor.
7. Switch on the power supply
The alarm lamp on the box will shine green and if the solenoid valve is closed, it
will now open.
8. Check the solenoid Valve
Important: It must be checked once every year
a. Check that the solenoid is open.
b. Switch off the power and check that the solenoid valve closes.
c. Switch on the power.
d. When the Alarm light shines green, make the AQA Stop Floor Sensor wet (e.g.
by dipping it into a cup of water).
e. Check if the solenoid valve closes and the Alarm lamp turns red.
f. Switch off the power to reset the water alarm.
g. When the Alarm lamp has switched off (it takes approx. 15 seconds), switch
the power back on.
h. The solenoid valve opens and the Alarm lamp now shines green.
The testing is completed.
