sensor-activated recording only
” this flag signifies recording if video or alarm
sensors are activated (thanks to pre-alarm functionality, the preceding 10 seconds
will also be recorded);

: if video recording is idle for a motion or alarm event, the

will be displayed in the left-hand corner at bottom of the corre-
sponding video channel. See section

“
shut-off time
”: how long recording continues after deactivation
of the video or alarm sensors;
•
“
initiate common event
” flag: this event can be used on other
channels for video or audio recording;
•
“
start recording by common event
”: starts recording as soon a
a common event is registered (with continuous, 10-seconds pre-
recording);

The name of the video event can be defined in the “
event name
” field;
•
“
noise reduction
” allows reduction of video noise and thereby reduces the data
stream level which is particularly useful when recording at night;
