Transport trips
A transport trip is a journey to and from the location where the machine is used while loaded or
unloaded.
DANGER
Risk of injury when hitching a ride on the machine!
Hitching a ride on the machine is prohibited.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, entanglement, catching or impact may arise if
the front, farmyard and wheel loader and the machine tip over as a result of insufficient
stability!
Adapt your driving style in such a way that you remain in full control of the front, farmyard
or wheel loader and the mounted / hitched machine at all times:
The factors to be considered in this regard are the driver’s personal driving abilities and
the conditions of the road, curves, and traffic as well as visual and weather conditions,
the driving characteristics of the front, farmyard or wheel loader and the impact by the
mounted / hitched machine.
Never negotiate narrow curves at excess driving speeds.
Avoid abrupt steering maneuvers when driving on slopes along the slope and the layer
line (tip-over hazard!).
WARNING
Risks of personal injury may arise if hydraulic functions are performed inadvertently
during transport trips!
Secure the machine from being lowered inadvertently before setting out on transport trips.
Prior to transport trips:
switch off the control panel,
the oil circuit between the front, farmyard or wheel loader and the machine is switched
off.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, cutting, entanglement, catching and impact
may arise if the mounted machine detaches from the front, farmyard or wheel loader by
accident!
Prior to transport trips, perform visual inspections to determine:
if the quick-change device of the four-point mounting frame has been locked in place
properly as specified in the operating manual of your front, farmyard or wheel loader.
WARNING
Risks may arise with improper use of the front, farmyard or wheel loader if the
malfunction of components, insufficient stability and insufficient ability of the front,
farmyard or wheel loader to steer and brake occur as a result!
The maximum payload of the mounted / hitched machine and the permissible axle and
drawbar loads of the front, farmyard or wheel loader must be observed. If necessary, drive
with the receiving hopper only partially filled.
