Storing a station preset
1:
To store a tuned station to a preset location press
the
MEMORY
button

Recalling a station preset

To select a preset in radio mode either press the

Bluetooth operation
When using the Bluetooth connection, you can listen to
audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth stereo audio device
within 10 metres of the CMC4BTMP3.

Select
BT
mode using the instructions from the
‘Switching modes’
section .

When the Bluetooth mode is selected a
BLUE
indicator led will flash
3
times and then a beep will
be heard . The unit is now in pairing mode and will
pair with any previously connected devices . When
in pairing mode a
RED
indicator led will flash until
paired .

If you have not connected a device you can now
enable
‘discovery’
mode on your device and select the
CMC4BTMP3
Bluetooth connection . If you are asked
for a pass code enter
‘0000’
.
NOTE: If you turn off either device before pairing
is complete the process will need to be repeated
when powered ON again.

Once paired the
BLUE
led indicator will flash slowly
and a beep will be heard .
5:
When playback from the device is initiated the
RED
&
BLUE
led indicators will flash simultaneously
6:
If using a mobile phone as an audio source, when
receiving a call audio playback stops while you receive
the call . When you hang up the audio is restored .

Bluetooth operation (cont)
When making a phone call you will need to either
disable bluetooth on your mobile device or switch to
another source input should you not wish the call to
be output from the speakers.
NOTE: the volume output is effected by the
volume level on the audio source EG: Phone or
laptop, so make sure that is set to about 70-80%
(not too loud to avoid distortion).
Any obstacles between devices may affect the
bluetooth connection
When a mobile phone is paired with too many
devices, you may need to clear the pairing history
to connect.
Connecting an external audio device
External audio sources such as iPod’s & MP3 players
can be connected using a 3.5mm to RCA audio cable
(not supplied).
