Reduce speed before turning or applying the brakes.
Ensure  that  both  brake  pedals  are  locked  together
when operating on public roads.

13.4 Hauling the Tractor and Implement

Before transporting a loaded tractor and implement,
measure the height and width dimensions and gross
weight of the complete loaded unit. Ensure that the
load will be in compliance with the legal limits set for
the areas that will be traveled through.

Use adequately sized and rated trailers and equip

ment to transport the tractor and implement.  Con

-

sult  an  authorized  dealer  to  determine  the  proper
equipment required. Using adequately sized chains,
heavy duty straps, cables and/or binders, securely
tie down both the front and rear of the tractor utiliz

-

ing the proper tie down locations as specified by the
tractor manufacturer.
