Your Bush Hog bale spear is fully assembled at the factory. If applicable, make sure all nuts and or bolts are

properly torqued before use of attachment. Refer to “Torque Chart” in the Maintenance Section of this manual.

Light weight tractors and some skid steer loaders will require rear ballast for heavy loads to

maintain steering control. Be sure to consult your Skid Steer or Tractor Operator’s Manual to

determine whether or not to add ballast.
