• Drain and collect any residual liquids from the pumping chamber, in compliance with
all local restrictions and requirements.
Make sure that the machine is empty. Replace all previously removed drain plugs.
When the work has been completed follow the procedure
.
• Remove the warning board and safety perimeter.
• Check the oil levels, see
• Connect the machine to the power supply.
• Make sure that the installation conditions are followed, see
• Open the cooling liquid supply (CLI).
• Start the machine.
• Open the injection cooling liquid into the cylinder (INJ), adjust the flow rate to the re-
quired amount to maintain the max.exhaust gas temperature < 80 °C.

If the machine is contaminated with hazardous material:
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
CAUTION
Hot surface.

• Prior to any action requiring touching the machine, let the machine cool down first.
NOTICE
Using inappropriate cleaners.
Risk of removing safety stickers and protective paint!
• Do not use incompatible solvents to clean the machine.
CAUTION
Failing to properly maintain the machine.
Risk of injuries!
Risk of premature failure and loss of efficiency!
• Respect the maintenance intervals or ask your Busch representative for service.
• Shut down the machine and lock against inadvertent start up.
• Turn off the cooling liquid supply.
• Vent the connected lines to atmospheric pressure.
