Model 02E/4C connector locations
Learn about connector locations on rack-mounted models.
Notes: The 02E/4C server supports 12X DDR and PCIe cable connector locations as follows:

The card installed in the C1 slot can contain either two 12X DDR cable ports for I/O expansion unit
support or one PCIe cable port for PCIe storage enclosure support. The C1 slot cannot provide both
12X DDR and PCIe cable ports.

The card installed in the C8 slot can contain either two 12X DDR cable ports for I/O expansion unit
support or one PCIe cable port for PCIe storage enclosure support. The C8 slot cannot provide both
12X DDR and PCIe cable ports.

The port card type installed in the C1 slot can differ from the port card type installed in the C8 slot.

The location and use of the SAS port are unaffected by the types of ports found in the C1 and C8 slots.
v
The 02E/4C server supports one GX adapter, which can be installed in the C1 slot.
