Installation
Installing the Water Sensor:
1. Remove the battery tab from the Sensor.
2. Place the Sensor on the floor anywhere
you want to detect water. Make sure it is
placed with the logo side facing up and
that the Sensor is flat to the surface.
(Optional) Installing the Water Sensor with the
connected Water Sensor Extender:
1. Remove the cover on the Sensor.
2. Loosen the screws on the Sensor.
3. Wrap the end of one of the wires from the
Water Sensor Extender around the head
of one of the screws on the Water Sensor.
Repeat this step for the second wire and
screw.
4. Tighten the screws on the Sensor to keep
the wires in place.
TIP: Place the wire in the small hole next to
the screw to easily keep the wire in place while
wrapping it around the head of the screw.
5. Place the Sensor on the floor or mount it
to the wall using the nail or double-sided
adhesive tape provided. If you’re placing the
Sensor on the floor, make sure it is placed
with the logo side facing up and that the
Sensor is flat to the surface.
6. Place the end of the Water Sensor Extender
in its desired location and mount it using
the screw or double-sided adhesive tape
provided.

Make sure the prongs on the end of
the Water Sensor Extender are in close
proximity to the area in which you want
to detect water.
Including the Sensor (adding it to the network)
TIP: For best results, we recommend having the Hub in
the same room as the Sensor you are Including.
