Temperature settings
4.2.1
Setting of control parameters in the first operating level
Do not set the temperature higher than the processing temperature of the hot
melt adhesive to avoid thermal damage and spraying of the hot melt adhe-
sive!
The temperature is set to 190°C at the factory.
1. Press down the Set key (10).
2. Use the Up key (8) or Down key (9) to set the temperature on the digital
display (11).
Switching off, even for a longer period of time, does not change the set tem-
perature value. Environmental influences (such as effects of strong magnetic
fields/transmitter systems) and fluctuations in the power supply system can
result in deviations of 1 - 2 °C.
4.2.2
Setting of control parameters in the second operating level
Pressing the Down button (9) and then additionally the Set button (10) for at
least 4 seconds takes you to the second operating level. The display colour
now changes to yellow. Use the Up and Down keys (8/9) to scroll through the
parameters.
Pressing the Set key (10) will display the value of the respective parameter.
The value is altered by additionally pressing the Up or Down keys. The new
value is saved permanently after all keys are released. A return to the basic
condition occurs automatically if no keys are pressed for more than 60 sec-
onds.
