Cleaning the condensate pan

Open the cleaning cover of the condensate pan.

B

Remove condensate residues.

B

Reseal the cleaning cover of the condensate pan 
tightly.

11.5 Cleaning the neutralising system and siphon

Maintenance of the neutralising system is described in a 
separate manual.

Undo the condensate hoses on the siphon.

B

Remove deposits from the siphon and refill with wa-
ter.

B

Refit the condensate hoses.

Wear suitable protective clothing and safe-
ty goggles during cleaning. Condensate in 
the condensate pan and siphon can reach 
a pH value of 2.

SYSTEM DAMAGE

through chemical cleaning agents.

Carry out wet cleaning of the heat ex-
changer only with water or cleaning 
agents approved by Buderus.

B

Fit the cleaning cover with a gasket.

B

After completing the cleaning steps, 
check the joints which were involved for 
leaks.
