Put the five hex socket screws back on but only
tighten them slightly.

Tighten the screws diagonally one by one until
all the screws are tight. Take care not to
overtighten the screws as they only hold the
structure together and do not affect seal
strength.

Test the valve in the system under pressure.

Gas-liquid-separators (GLS)
NOTE
To avoid contamination in the collected fractions, it is recommended to flush the
gas-liquid separators with a CO₂ modifier mixture after each run.

Purged each GLS for 30 seconds with a total flow and the modifier content.

If this is not sufficient clean them manually.
u
Remove the GLS cups and clean them manually with an ultrasound bath using a
suitable solvent.
u
Loosen the green union nut.
u
Remove the flask cap.
u
Loosen the brown PEEK capillary tube fittings
on the GLS.
u
Remove the brown PEEK capillary tube fittings
on the GLS.
