Fitting the receiving flask

Ball joint clamp

Receiving flask

Fit the receiving flask (2) onto the condenser from below, hold it firmly in place and
secure it with the ball joint clamp (1).

If the connection is not sufficiently airtight, apply a thin coat of Glisseal 40 red
laboratory grease to the ground glass joint.
