u

Switch off the instrument.

u

Lift off the top cover (1) and put it aside.

u

Unplug the mains plug inside the device (2).

u

Unplug the power cable (3) of the primary / secondary lamp module.

u

Turn the locking lever upwards (4) to unlock the module.

u

Carefully pull out the lamp (5).

u

Put the new lamp in.

u

Turn the locking lever downwards to lock the module.

u

Connect the power cable of the primary / secondary lamp module.

u

Connect the mains plug inside the device.

u

Install the top cover again.

u

Switch on the instrument

u

Reset the lamp lifetime counter using the separate PC as described in chapter
7.8.4. of the NIRWare Operation Manual.

7.11

Resetting the lamp lifetime counter

To correctly monitor the lamp lifetime the software hour counter has to be reset
after each lamp replacement. See chapter 7.8.4. of the NIRWare Operation Manual.

7.12

Exchanging the laser unit

NOTE

A BUCHI service technician is required to replace the LASER unit.
