7 Cleaning and servicing
NOTE
Users may only carry out the servicing and cleaning operations described in this
section.
Any servicing and repair work which involves opening up the casing may only be
carried out by BUCHI service technicians.

7.2 Cleaning the housing
NOTE
Avoid scratches on optical surfaces due to cleaning.
Scratches can influence the measurement precision.

Never use any objects for cleaning which might scratch the optical surfaces.

Switch off the instrument and all directly connected electronic devices.

Clean the housing with a soft, lint free damp cloth with mild soapy water.
