∙ insert the gauge
into the gap
between the holder and the housing
(insert the gauge according to the
condition of the seal – for a new seal
insert the thick end of the gauge, for
a worn sealing use the thin end, or
the middle part)
∙ move the sample tube holder

upwards against the gauge

and
tighten the two screws on the holder
∙ remove the gauge

∙ insert a sample tube and test the
connection of the sample tube for
tightness
∙ if necessary repeat the adjustment
using another step of the gauge

NOTE
If the adjustment of the sample tube holder does not remedy the problem, it may be necessary to
exchange the sample tube holder and/or the splash protector seal.
7.8
