Notes regarding further operation
The drying tube fillings must be replaced regularly in order to ensure correct readings. The drying
agent is charged with an indicator which shows the used up zones of the tube. If ¾ of the desiccant is
discolored, the filling must be replaced.
Removing and installing the drying tubes
Function of the drying tubes
The drying tubes bind traces of water that would impair both the detector signal and the lifetime of the
IR detector.
