6.3

Cleaning the FID

1. Switch off unit

Allow unit to cool down

2. Disconnect detector cable (= signal cable )
3. Disconnect ignition cable
4. Loosen main arm of FID's top body
5. Remove FID's top body
6. Unscrew the jet with the wrench (Order No. 036678); jet

sits inside the FID's base body

7. Clean jet with fine wire and clean the collector, if necessary
8. Reinstall FID (ensure that all sealings are reinstalled)

Replacing the ignition coil

1. Switch off unit

Allow unit to cool down

2. Disconnect ignition cable

3. Loosen threaded joint and remove

4. Insert new ignition coil and retighten threaded joint
5. Reconnect ignition cable
