5.12.1.3 Method screen "Addition"
Continuous addition "Continuous":
Dispensing will be effected continuously in accordance
with the settings.
control band [mV]:
If continuous is selected, a preset semidynamic function
will be activated for the defined band.
Control band
The method parameter "control band" can be used to
apply a dynamic titrant addition only at a certain area of
the titration, for example close to the point of charge
neutralization.
The titrant addition will be static - only the volume set up
as dV(max) will be dosed for every titration step, until
the streaming potential reaches to value adjusted as
control band (in the above example 1000 mV).
From this point on, a dynamic titration addition will take
place, according to the control parameters dV(max),
dV(min) and dE(set).
The settings for the time interval between two addition
steps, which are adjusted under the field "Mode" (fixed
or adapt) are independent from the control band. They
are applied during the complete titration.
The value for the control band is valid for both, cationic
and anionic streaming potentials.
Dynamic addition "Dynamic":
The Mütek

PCD-05 adapts the dispensed volume to
the variation of the mV signal to meet the predefined
"dE [mV]" for each dispensing step.
dE(set) [mV]:
Here you may predefine the desired change in the mV
signal per dispensing step.
dV(min) [ml]/ dV(max) [ml]:
The increment is within the range between minimum
(dVmin) and maximum(dVmax) increment.
