5.10 Measuring with the Mütek™ PCD-05 Smart through Smart Display

Information

The Smart display offers basic functions for the PCD-05
Smart. Full functionality is given by connection to a Wi-
Fi device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop), see chapter
5.5 "Connect a mobile device to PCD-05 Smart", page
34.

Information

The Smart display is equipped with a screen saver
which automatically appears after 20 min. To deactivate
the screen saver just touch the screen.

Information

The pH display shown on the following screens is only
available to users who have ordered the option "pH Set"
with the instrument.

5.10.1 Setup the Smart Display measurement

• Assemble the PCD-05 Smart according to chapter

4.6.3 "Startup of PCD-05 Smart", page 28.

• Turn on Mütek

TM

PCD-05 Smart.

- The main screen appears:

Rinse

Both tubes will be rinsed with 10 ml.

Change to Measure screen.

Transfer
to USB

Final results and parameters will be
transferred through USB-port.

tial. The value is reduced in steps
when adding titrant.

START/ STOP toggle button for indi-
cation of streaming potential.

Shows the current titrant consumption.
When the streaming potential has
gone through the point of termination,
the titration is finished. The display
shows the consumed amount of tit-
rant, which is recalculated to 0 mV.

- "Titrant" starts titration
- "Titrant" stops titration

Indicates the current pH, if the pH
measurement option has been choo-
sen.
