6.2
Removing and installing the appliance
Depending on the type of construction, the appliances are mounted differently in
the cut-out of the worktop.
The following types of mounting system are used:
•
Installation rails which are mounted on the left and right of the worktop cut-out,
in conjunction with locking catches on the appliance
•
Spring clips on the left and right of the appliance
•
Mounting straps (screwed in place) below the appliance
There is a danger that the glass ceramic will crack if not removed
correctly!
► Observe the following instructions for installation and removal.
6.2.1
Removing the appliance
Required tools:
?
483196 Installation lever (angled spatula)
Prerequisite:
•
Appliance is disconnected from power supply.
•
Appliance is accessible from below.
In principle, the appliances must be pushed out of the worktop
from below.
Only if the time required for this is unjustifiable may they be
removed from above using the installation lever (angled spatula).

If the appliance is mounted using installation rails and locking catches,
► Push the appliance out of the worktop from underneath at the left and
right.

If the appliance is mounted at the left and right using spring clips,
► Push the appliance out of the worktop from underneath - several times
at the left and right alternately.

If the appliance is mounted to the worktop from underneath using mounting
straps which are screwed in place,
1) Loosen the mounting straps and turn towards the centre of the
appliance.
2) Push the appliance out of the worktop from underneath at the left and
right.
6.2.2
Installing the appliance
The worktop may be damaged if a defective seal is used for the glass
ceramic!
► Check the seal. Replace the seal if defective.
► Install the appliance in reverse sequence.
