6.6.3

Temperature Measurement / Temperature Monitoring

The temperature measurement takes place over one sensor per cell packet. In this, temperature is measured over

18  sensors  in  total.  The  highest  (

CCU_T_HIGH

),  the  lowest  (

CCU_T_LOW

)  and  the  average  temperature  value

(

BATT_T_AVERAGE

) can be emitted as an output value. Along with the voltage value, the temperature value per

cell  block  is  emitted  with  the  relevant  index  in  the  message

CCU_Cell

 (

CCU_T

).  In  each  case,  the  limit  is

CCU_T_HIGH.

The temperature monitoring takes place in three steps:

Step 1:

Warning

If a defined temperature value is reached or exceeded, the warning message or CAN signal

BMS_War_OverTemperature

 or

BMS_War_UnderTemperature

 will be emitted.

Step 2:

Reaching of the Limit

If the defined limit is reached or exceeded, this signifies a charging current of 0 A set by derating

(

BATT_CurrentDischargeMax / BATT_CurrentChargeMax

).

  The CAN signal

BMS_MODE_OTP

 or

BMS_MODE_UTP

 is emitted.

Step 3:

Reaching of the maximum value:

If the defined maximum value is reached or exceeded, the battery immediately disconnects from the DC

intermediate circuit, when a current flows.

The error message or the CAN signal

BMS_TErr_OverTemperature / BMS_TErr_UnderTemperature

 is

emitted.
