Used term

Description

Box

Any kind of package used to protect sensitive parts during
transportation.

Cryostat

The collective of all parts providing a temperature of 4 K
inside for the superconducting magnet. The cryostat also
provides the safety devices and the access ports for the
cryogenic agents and electricity. The superconducting
magnet inside the cryostat is not energized.

Dewar

Any kind of package used for transporting cryogenic agents
like gaseous or liquid helium or nitrogen.

Magnet System

The collective of all parts necessary for the intended use.
The superconducting magnet inside the cryostat is energi-
zed.
