System Setup

2.8.4

Settings

The 

System Setup

 menu selection allows you to easily change the configuration

setup by using pre-defined configurations for different units (e.g. BMPC, voice box
language: english). This includes all voice files and the SBS command sequenc-
es. When switching from one configuration to another, the Phonebook and

 

the log

files will be automatically changed as well.

The configuration path can be selected by clicking on the 

Change

 button (to the

right of the 

Configuration Path

 field). You then must only select a new configura-

tion (if available) from the pull-down list.

The 

Global System Address 

field

 

(standard address of the SBS device) can also

be changed. It is possible to enter a value between 0..255 (for example 9 for a
BMPC unit). To supervise different devices, it is possible to choose individual ad-
dresses for each device, whereas the 

(default) Global System Address

 will be

overwritten.

In order for the system to dial automatically, you need to enter the 

International

Phone Code

 (precode for international access), the 

Country Code

 (for example:

49 for Germany, 1 for USA) and the 

Regional Phone Code

 (without the normal

leading ’0’).

To confirm the data that has been entered, click on the 

 button. To cancel

the entry and restore the old values, click on the 

 button.

Login Options

The 

login options

 window allows you to enter the proper Windows NT 

login name

and to enter the corresponding password. By checking the 

Auto-Login

 box you

can save this configuration which will allow the system to login for you.
