»Tracking Analysis« measurement
In Tracking Analysis there are two operational modes:
•
Free-running measurement
with a manual control of
Start/Stop of the measurement, and the option of storing
the individual measurements in the Listing memory.
•
Measurement vs. Speed or vs. time
with automatic
storage of the measured values, automatic stop of the
measurement process and display of the results. The
method “Measurement vs. Speed “ is normally used for run-
up and run-down procedures.
Note :
•
Phase measurement is only possible with an integral ratio
between speed and reference. No measurement of phase
is possible with a non-integral ratio between these.
•
The maximum measurable frequency is 10 kHz, the mini-
mum frequency is 0,8 Hz. No measurement is possible out-
side of this range. As an example the 50
th
overtone of 3 kHz
cannot be measured as it lies outside this range.
•
If no measurement is possible there will be no display.
