You can reset the internal memory of your P-touch to clear all saved label files, or if the P-touch is not 
operating correctly.

Resetting All Settings to the Factory Settings Using the 
P-touch Buttons

All text, format settings, option settings and stored label files are cleared when you reset the P-touch 
(including language and unit settings).
To reset the P-touch, perform the following procedure.

a

Turn the P-touch off.

b

Press and hold the 

(Power) button and the 

(Feed and Cut) button for about three seconds until the 

(Power) indicator lights in orange and the 

 (Label) indicator blinks in green.

c

While holding the 

(Power) button, press the 

(Feed and Cut) button as follows:

Press two times to reset the customised settings and clear the data except all of the transferred data 
from the computer, registered programs, and the contents in the file memory. (The settings that you 
can make using the keyboard LCD unit are reset.)

Press four times to clear all of the transferred data from the computer, registered programs, and the 
contents in the file memory.

Press six times to delete all data and reset the P-touch settings to the factory settings except the Wi-Fi 
settings.
