ALL THE MODELS SERIE KENIA
The standard frame included with models Kenia is removable. To place an optional frame (M-20, M-21,
etc.) it is necessary to remove the standard frame and then replace the optional one with the same drills. To
remove the standard frame it is necessary unscrew the 4 screws of the frame (2 in each side). Then, place
and screw again the new frame (
see drawing D30
).
WARNING!! If the insert is installed and covered and you want to buy another new one
optional frame it is important to advice of this to your distributor when you are going to
ask for it.
2.2.7
ALL THE MODELS SERIE FLORIDA
The standard frame included with the inserts is removable to make easier the installation and the repair /
replacement of the electrical components (fan, thermostat, etc.).
To remove the standard frame it is necessary unscrew the 4 screws of the frame (2 in each side) (
see
drawing D31
).
WARNING!! To be able to repair / replace the electrical components of the insert it is
essential to have a easy way to uninstall the frame.
2.2.8
MODEL BRISTOL
In this model it is also included a handle with two different functions (
see drawing D32
).
-
Remove the ash pan.
-
Apply over the pull of the rotating cast doing possible to move it avoiding burnings.
The rotating cast is made in two parts: the iron grate and the handle in stainless steel. To place the grate
follow the next steps:
1.
First of all, we must introduce the rod by the hole on the front of the stove.
2.
Place the grate with an approximated angle of 45º to introduce the hook of the rod on the hole of the
grate.
3.
Later, place the grate over the firebox (
see drawing D33
).
The firebox is removable too. To remove it follow the next steps:
1.
Remove the vermiculite pieces (only model Bristol).
2.
Remove the iron grate and the handle.
3.
Finally turn the firebox approximately 45º to get it out by the door of the stove (
see drawing D34
).
To remove the frame it is necessary unscrew the 4 screws of the frame (2 in each side). If you want to
install a special frame, first of all, it is necessary remove the standard frame and then, place and screw
again the new frame.
2.2.9 PANAMÁ SERIES
Auxiliary ventilation
The models Panamá-E and Panamá-F have a tangential turbine of 680 m3/h. However, the Panamá-D
incorporates two turbines of 450 m3/h. You can disable the operation of the turbine from the control unit
of the equipment, leaving it with natural convection. However, if the insert reaches a temperature above
TSI (by default 100°C), the turbine/turbines will work in automatic mode for cooling. The turbine serves to
propel the air, never to suck the hot air.
It is possible to direct one or more hot air exits to a different room and not to the one where the insert is installed.
In that case, it is necessary to compensate this exit with a return canalization in order to prevent the room is in depression, with the risks that
this would entail.
The models Panamá-E and Panamá-F have a ventilation unit (turbine) of 680 m3/h incorporated in the bottom.
The ventilation unit takes air through the two side entrances (Ø150mm) of the fan which must be necessarily connected to a duct that takes
air cold enough in order to avoid the overheating of the equipment. This duct must be connected to the outside of the house or at least
outside the masonry built around the insert, aspirating the air of the room where it is installed. Otherwise, the combustion of the equipment
may not be appropriate because the turbine will take the O2 of the air intakes 1 and 2, diminishing the correct combustion of the equipment.
Do not forget the electrical connection of 220V and the grounding of the equipment. ATTENTION! This factor is crucial for the proper
operation.
