The decoder’s brake squeal effect plays when a speed step threshold
is  met.    The  threshold  is  met  when  the  speed  step  decreases  fast
enough  to  meet  this  threshold  (CV184).    Increasing  this  value
decreases  the  brake  sensitivity.    Setting  CV184  to  255  disables  the
brake squeal sound effect. Clearing bit1 of CV227 disables the brake
squeal sound effect.
