Use PCIe Gen3-compliant computers that have x8 or x16 lanes at up to 8 GT/s per lane.
1.3 LPe16000-Series HBAs and LPe15004 HBAs
This section describes the following FC-to-PCIe Emulex LPe16000-series HBAs and LPe15004 HBAs:

LPe16000-series HBAs (16Gb/s):
– LPe16000B (one port)
– LPe16002B (two ports)
– LPe16004 (four ports)

LPe15004 HBAs (8Gb/s)
1.3.1 Major Features
LPe16000-series HBAs and LPe15004 HBAs have the following major features:

Autonegotiation between 4Gb/s and 8Gb/s (LPe15004 HBAs), or 4Gb/s, 8Gb/s, and 16Gb/s (all other HBAs) FC link
speeds

Multifunction PCIe Gen3 interface controller that is compliant to the PCI Express Base Specification Rev 3.0 and
PCI Express CEM Specification Rev 3.0

Packet transfers at 2.5, 5 GT/s, and 8 GT/s on the PCIe link (autonegotiated with the system)

