BWS Rebro Server
With IT security a priority for all organisations, setting up the ability to stream through the IT
‘firewalls’ can be a time-consuming and complex process and often not viable for occasional
or ‘once-only’ contributions. With this in mind, BWS have set up a Rebro server which acts
as a bridge through the IT firewalls. IT security is not compromised as both the originating
encoder (ie: SoloCAM) and the receiving decoder both ‘call out’ to the Rebro server, rather
than the IT department opening ports through the firewall for the stream to pass through.
