5.6.2.6 Backup and restore
You can use the
“Backup and Restore”
menu to back up all setting parameters, the
application software or the entire system software, e.g. on an external storage de-
vice. You can use this to restore the backed up data at a later time.
You can back up the following system components:
Designation Description
“Applications”
(Fig. 122/1) Backs up the application software but not the setting
parameters
“System”
(Fig. 122/2) Backs up the system software completely including
the available application functions, all setting parame-
ters and the operating system. A complete system
clone is created.
“Settings”
(Fig. 122/3) Backs up all setting parameters but not the applica-
tion software
