The face shield is designed to protect the wearers eyes, nose and mouth from splashes, sprays,
and spatter of liquids. The face shield and head band are made from bio plastic that have been
processed from sugarcane.

Warning
This product is supplied in multi-pack, in each package there is only one user manual.
The user manual shall be made available to all users by posting it where the face shields
are distributed or by other means.
The face shield should be checked before each use. Scratched or damaged face shields should
be disposed of. It is not possible to repair the face shield.
The headband and foam, when in contact with skin, can cause allergic reactions to susceptible users.
Applicable laws and approvals
The product is designed and tested to fulfil the requirements set forth in PPE EU 2016/425
as a category II PPE and with applicable parts of standard EN166:2001.
Testing and type certification have been made by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB,
Box 857, 501 15 BORÅS, SWEDEN, Notified Body no 0402, certificate number C900141, Issue 2,
dated 2020-11-04.
Instructions for use
Remove the protection film before first use. Hold the face shield against the face and pull
the head band over your head.
Adjust the length of the head band by pulling the strap tab while holding the counterpart
of the band with your other hand. Do not overtighten as it will be uncomfortable after some time.
You can extend the band if necessary.
When you have the right adjustment, bend the pulling tab backwards to lock the adjustment.
Cleaning
The face shield can be cleaned using a disinfectant, ethanol or isopropanol is recommended.
Storage
Storage should be made in a clean, dry place to avoid dust, scratching, and unnecessary wear.
Do not store in direct sunlight or in temperatures above 30 degrees or below 5 degrees Celsius.
Expected shelf time in un-opened packaging is more than 10 years.
Recycling
The packing should be recycled as cardboard and the inner-bag as soft plastic (PE).
The face shield should be disposed as combustible waste.
Marking
The face shield is marked “BRIGO 1 S – EN166 3 S”.
The first digit specifies the optical class according to EN166 (class 1). The last digit (3) means
that the product is designed to protect against droplets and splashes of liquid. The S means that
the face shield fulfils the increased robustness mechanical requirements of EN166.

Das Gesichtsschutz soll Augen, Nase und Mund des Trägers vor Tröpfchen, Sprays und Flüssig-
keitsspritzern schützen. Der Gesichtsschutz und das Band bestehen aus Biokunststoff, der aus
Zuckerrohr verarbeitet wurde.

Dieses Produkt wird im Multipack geliefert, in jeder Packung befindet sich nur ein Benutzer-
handbuch. Das Benutzerhandbuch wird allen Benutzern durch Aushang an den Orten, an denen die
Gesichtsschutzschilde verteilt werden, oder auf anderem Wege zugänglich gemacht.
Der Gesichtsschutz sollte vor jedem Gebrauch überprüft werden. Verkratzte oder beschädigte
Gesichtsschutzschilde sollten entsorgt werden. Es ist nicht möglich, den Gesichtsschutz zu reparieren.
Das Kopfband und der Schaumstoff kann bei Hautkontakt von Allergikern, Reaktionen auslösen.
Geltende Gesetze und Genehmigungen
Das Produkt ist so konstruiert und getestet, dass es die Anforderungen erfüllt, die in der EU 2016/425
als PSA der Kategorie II und mit den anwendbaren Teilen der Norm EN166:2001 festgelegt sind.
Die Prüfung und Typenzertifizierung wurde von RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB, Box 857,
501 15 BORÅS, SWEDEN, notifizierte Stelle Nr. 0402, Bescheinigungsnummer C900141, Ausgabe 2,
datiert 2020-11-04, durchgeführt.
Gebrauchsanweisung
Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie vor dem ersten Gebrauch. Halten Sie den Gesichtsschutz vor das
Gesicht und ziehen Sie das Kopfband über den Kopf.
Stellen Sie die Länge des Kopfbandes ein, indem Sie an der Lasche des Bandes ziehen, während
Sie mit der anderen Hand das Gegenstück des Bandes halten. Ziehen Sie das Band nicht zu fest an,
da es nach einiger Zeit unbequem werden kann. Sie können das Stirnband bei Bedarf verlängern.
Wenn Sie die richtige Einstellung haben, biegen Sie die Zuglasche nach hinten, um die Einstellung
zu arretieren.
Reinigung
Der Gesichtsschutz kann mit einem Desinfektionsmittel gereinigt werden, empfohlen wird Ethanol
oder Isopropanol.
Lagerung
Die Lagerung sollte an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort erfolgen, um Staub, Kratzer und unnötigen
Verschleiß zu vermeiden. Nicht in direktem Sonnenlicht oder bei Temperaturen über 30 Grad oder
unter 5 Grad Celsius lagern. Die voraussichtliche Lagerdauer in ungeöffneter Verpackung beträgt
mehr als 10 Jahre.
Recycling
Die Verpackung sollte als Karton und der Innenbeutel als Weichplastik (PE) recycelt werden
und der Gesichtsschutz als brennbarer Abfall entsorgt.
Kennzeichnung
Der Gesichtsschutz ist mit „BRIGO 1 S – EN166 3 S“ gekennzeichnet. Die erste Ziffer gibt die optis-
che Klasse nach EN166 (Klasse 1) an. Die letzte Ziffer (3) bedeutet, dass das Produkt zum Schutz
gegen Tröpfchen und Flüssigkeitsspritzer bestimmt ist. Das S bedeutet, dass der Gesichtsschutz
die erhöhten mechanischen Robustheitsanforderungen von EN166 erfüllt.
