7.4 After completion of fault rectification work

After completing fault rectification work, and before switching
the machine on, carry out the following steps:

a) Check that all previously loosened screw connections are

secure.

b) Check that all previously removed protective equipment and

covers have been properly reinstalled. Clean the work area
and remove any materials which may have leaked out such as
liquids, processing material, or similar.

c) Ensure that all tools, materials and other equipment used

have been removed from the work area.

d) Ensure that all safety equipment on the machine is working

correctly.

WARNING

There is a danger to life if the machine is switched
back on with missing or incorrectly installed
protective covers and protective equipment!

When switching the machine back on there is a risk of
injury to persons who are present in or reach into the
hazard area.

Before turning the machine back on, ensure that all
protective and safety equipment has been correctly
reinstalled.
