Press the °F / °C button to choose either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
•
Press the TEMPERATURE SETTING button to choose a preset
temperature.
•
Press the [ + ] button to increase the temperature by one degree.
•
Press the [ - ] button to decrease the temperature by one degree.
•
The temperature displayed on the screen will be stored after three
seconds.
•
During the heating cycle, the LCD will display the current water
temperature.
WARNING:
Never set the temperature above the boiling point.
Refer to the “High Altitude Users” section in the owner’s manual to
determine the boiling temperature for your altitude.

To begin the heating process, press the ON/OFF button.
•
To stop the heating process, press the ON/OFF button or remove
the kettle from the base.
•
To resume heating, return kettle to base and press the
ON/OFF button.
•
When the set temperature is reached, three audible beeps
are emitted.
•
Once the temperature is set, it will be stored in the memory and
will be recalled the next time the kettle is turned on.

Follow instructions for “Setting Up the Kettle”.
•
Press ON/OFF button (illustration 1).
•
Bring water to a boil.
•
Brew at the maximum temperature and for the maximum pump
functioning time (press PUMP button repeatedly until the display
reads 8:00) (illustration 2).
•
Empty the kettle (illustration 3) and allow the appliance to cool
down for 1 minute.
•
Repeat twice before initial use.

•
Set the base on a flat, steady surface and plug cord into a grounded
wall outlet.
•
Remove the kettle from the base.
•
Turn the lid clockwise to unlock (illustration 1).
•
Remove filter basket and metal filter.
•
Fill the kettle with cold water (illustration 2).
IMPORTANT!
Do not fill above the “max” fill line (1.2L) or below
the “min” fill line (0.6L).
•
Replace metal filter and filter basket (filter basket is optional).
•
Return kettle to base.
•
Replace lid and turn counterclockwise to lock (illustration 3).

Remove the kettle from the base.
•
Turn the lid clockwise to unlock.
•
Remove filter basket and metal filter.
•
Fill the kettle with cold water.
•
Replace metal filter and filter basket.
NOTE:
The metal filter is only necessary if preparing loose
botanicals.
•
Add loose botanicals to filter basket or tea bags to metal filter
(user preference).
•
Replace lid and turn counterclockwise to lock.
•
Follow instructions below to set temperature and pump time.
