To re-assemble, ensure the spool is fitted securely to the coupling, fit the end
plate assembly to the valve body. Fit and secure the 4 screws which hold the
two parts together. Rotate the spool with your finger through the outlet (do
not use anything sharp, like a tool, which could damage the spool or valve
body.) The spool must rotate smoothly and easily through its complete 110
degrees of movement.
To replace the valve assembly Secure the valve body to the case with the 4
x screws. Fit the flow sensor silicone tube to the outlet. Fit the silicone tube
to the right hand port and secure the rigid tube with 2 x screws. Connect the
electrical connections. Valve control connector CON 6, valve drive connector
CON 5.
Removing and Replacing the Power Supply
Switch off the Clearway 2 and disconnect the AC mains supply.
Follow the instructions on how to open the case.
Place the Clearway 2 on its back.
To remove the Power
supply, Disconnect the AC input connector CN1 and
the DC output connector CN2 from the power supply. Loosen and remove
the 4 fixing screws. The power supply can now be lifted out of the rear case.
To replace the power supply , Locate the power supply over the 4 fixing
posts. The AC mains input (3-way connector) must be to the top of the case.
Fit and tighten the 4 fixing screws to. Connect the AC input CN1 and DC
output connector CN2.
Removing and Replacing the Flow Transducer
Switch off the Clearway 2 and disconnect the AC mains supply.
Follow the instructions on how to open the case.
Disconnect the flow transducer connector CON 2 and the pressure pipes from
the transducers. Release the Silicone MFS tube from either the valve or patient
outlet end. The flow transducer can carefully be removed along with the
silicone MFS tubes. Remove the flow transducer from the two silicone MFS
tubes (note that the tubes are different and must be fitted as shown.
